SUCCESS STRATEGY:
“Always be a student — the road to success is always under construction.”
Have you ever said to yourself or someone else, “There has to be a better way”? Less than three years ago, my husband and I found ourselves saying this often. After raising our two children to grade school age, it was time for me to get back into the workforce. In September of 2005, I bumped into my friend, ERVP Dee Gundersen, for a brief, five-minute encounter that has forever changed the course of my family's life. Dee was so excited to share her new business and invited me to a Presentation a few days later. In the meantime, I went home with a sample kit of the NutriMinC® RE9® anti-aging skin care and absolutely fell in love with it.
As I listened to the Arbonne Opportunity Presentation, I knew this could be the vehicle to a better life. The biggest fear I had was being left behind — I knew I had to jump in immediately. Even though I signed up that night to become a business builder, my insecurities set in. The negative self-talk started. “What if it doesn't work? I don't like to sell. I don't want to bother my family and friends. What will people think of me? I don't know enough people. I have no time.” Fortunately, my adventurous side said, “What if it does work?” I quickly saw that the product was so superior I had no choice but to share it with others. I surrounded myself with successful people in Arbonne and followed the business-building model. One thing I knew for sure was that I could not let this opportunity pass me by and look back in 5 or 10 years, saying, “What if I had?” The minute my products arrived at my doorstep, I set up my sample kits and sent them out into people's hands to try. Arbonne is a product-driven company, with products that show results. These products sell themselves — getting others to sample them is the best way to build a network of consumers. Many top professionals are looking for multiple streams of income in this economic climate, and this is a business that can be built alongside your current profession.
